The Southlake & Surrounding Areas Teams of Tomorrow Program is proud to announce its beginning 16th year and proud to be the longest operating franchise! We are so excited to see our friends at our schools!

My name is Debbie Shelstead and I am your local TOT Director/Owner. I'm a certified physical education teacher with 15 years of teaching experience in grades K-4 and 9-12 before owning TOT. I have also had the amazing opportunity to coach the game of basketball at every level!
Throughout my teaching career I have thoroughly enjoyed working with children of all ages and developing meaningful relationships with their families. I believe that watching them develop and grow to their potential is an exciting and priceless opportunity that teachers are lucky to have!
Graduating from Montana State University with a Bachelors of Science in Education, Physical Education & Health K-12 has allowed me to pursue her passion for children, education and basketball. I take much pride in creating and implementing programs designed to educate children on their physical health and well-being.
Originally from Irving, Texas, I'm excited to have moved back last year and live there with my husband Ed, who is an administrator in Northwest ISD. Both of my girls are graduates of ACU - GO CATS! My oldest daughter, Sydney, is a Systems Engineer. My youngest daughter, Kennedy, is the Assistant Volleyball Coach at Arkansas Tech University.
About TOT in Texas “ Southlake and Surrounding Areas"
The TOT program
is extremely flexible. The 9 month program runs
September through May. Other schools choose
a shorter 6 - 18 week program while some choose to offer TOT to their entire school every other week! The registration fee is $35.00 for the 9-12
month programs. This fee purchases each
TOT child a TOT team t-shirt AND ball, unit rewards for completing each unit including a
trophy earned at the end of the year for a job well-done! The monthly tuition fee is $50.00.
One of the highlights of the year is the TOT Half-time Performance! Superstars have performed on-court at the American Airlines Center at the Harlem Globetrotters Game! Other performances have included: DALLAS MAVS, TCU, Scottish Rite Hospital, Flower Mound HS, Keller HS, Carroll Sr. HS, Byron Nelson HS, Timber Creek HS, Colleyville Heritage HS and Keller MS!
Superstars celebrate a Job Well Done after all 25 skills have been learned in May with our SHINE TIME CELEBRATION! Every child shines as they show off their skills and drills to family and friends!
Great Things are Happening in TOT!!!
The 2016 TOT Superstars who performed at the Dallas MAVS Game became the CENTER highlight photo on the NATIONAL TOT BROCHURE!! This was TOT's 2nd year on court a Dallas Mavericks game! TOT was the first preschool group invited to perform at a MAVS game!
We can't wait to see the TOT Superstars on court AGAIN at the Harlem Globetrotters game in January! This will be the 16th year that local TOT Superstars have performed at this family fun event!
TOT's newest, quite memorable event is AMAZING! The TOT Preschool Tournament is a precious opportunity for parents to participate with their child!!
TOT fun continues in the summer! Many preschools enjoy TOT Space, Dino & Wild West Camps!
