   Dana and her husband John have been married for 33 years.  Together they enjoy family time with their kids and grandkids.  Some of their favorite activities include family BBQ's, camping and swimming.

   Dana is a certified teacher, with over 19 years of public school experience.  She has taught 1st through 6^th grade, including both regular and special education programs.  She also earned her Administration Certification, and worked as an Assistant Principal for four years.

   Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Dana's family relocated to Schertz, Texas 25 years ago.  In 2012 Dana was introduced to the TOT Basketball program, and it has been love ever since.  She finds great joy watching children light up when they successfully master a new TOT skill!

About the Greater San Antonio Area TOT Program

   TOT is an active, academic program that will compliment your child's existing preschool curriculum while building gross and fine motor skills, instilling good character, self-discipline and increasing self-confidence. This ball handling program was created by educators and because of that, modern day brain research and sound teaching principals were naturally integrated. TOT is the most unique song and movement program available to preschoolers today, combining academics with athletics, appealing to boys and girls, and the athletic and non-athletic.

  The TOT program runs from September through May with summer camps available in June and July at some locations. The registration fee includes a t-shirt, basketball, prizes at the end of each six-week unit, and a trophy at the end of the season.

  The biggest highlight of the TOT program is our performances. In the middle of the season, TOT Superstars have the opportunity to showcase their dribbling skills at our Half-Time Performance at a local college or high school basketball game. We have also been the pregame show for the San Antonio Spurs.  In May, we end the year with our Shine Time Celebration and award all TOT Superstars their much deserved trophy. Every child shines as they show off their skills to family and friends! You will be amazed at what your child will learn in TOT!
