Angie grew up in small town Nebraska.  She played basketball from 3^rd grade through college and spent much of her childhood on the basketball court and travelling with her 3 brothers to their many baseball games.  Angie continued to play basketball through high school and college – and even continues to play in recreational leagues today!  She graduated from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO, with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education.  Angie has  3 active boys who are 15, 14, and 13 years old.  As a family, they enjoy being active in their community and playing basketball and baseball.  Her family moved from North Carolina to Colorado and are excited for the new journey before them!

Over the past 10 years, Angie has worn many hats, all related to child care and education.  When her boys were very young, she spent 3 years as the director of a small pre-kindergarten program in North Carolina.  She then spent a year managing a children’s enrichment program in North Carolina where she maintained service and staffing to 40 pre-schools and over 500 students.  She left this job to return to her teaching career and to be able to have a more flexible schedule with her own children during their early school years.  Angie spent one year in various long term substitute teaching positions in elementary grades that led to a full time 4^th grade teaching position.  For the last 2 years, she has taught 4^th grade, coached middle school boys’ basketball, and been the director of an Upward Basketball league servicing 200 families in North Carolina. 

Angie first learned about the TOT program through a close high school friend who has been running her TOT franchise in Texas for the past 7 years.  When her husband was asked to relocate to Colorado, she decided to combine her two “loves” of teaching and basketball to bring this amazing program to the state of Colorado!  Angie is passionate about the TOT program because of its ability to combine academics with athletics to promote self-discipline, fine and gross motor skills, and self-confidence in children at a young age.

The Boulder Area Colorado TOT program

Including:  Boulder, Broomfield, Lafayette, Louisville, Superior, Westminster

The Preschool TOT program (Pre K 3 yrs-5yrs) will run from September through May. This TOT program combines athletics, academics (reinforcing the skills the preschool is teaching) and agility. The registration fee purchases each TOT child a TOT t-shirt, five unit prizes, and a trophy at the end of the year. Summer camps are also available. 

Tiny TOT (K-1st grade) and Basic TOT (2nd-6th grade) are programs that may run from November thru February. The Tiny and Basic TOT registration fee buys the students a TOT t-shirt, TOT basketball, four TOT pins, and a TOT medal at the end of the TOT season. Basic TOT ends the season with a TOT tournament showing off all the skills they have learned!

All the TOT programs develop gross and fine motor skills, coordination, fitness, agility, listening skills, ability to follow directions, and teamwork for the students. One of the highlights of the year for all programs is our half-time performance at a local high school or college game.  Our Preschool TOT program ends the year in May with our SHINE TIME CELEBRATION! Every child shines as they show off their skills and drills to friends and family!
